Málaga or Alhaurín de la Torre?
Start with an ordinary day in the life you want.

Local knowledge. Personal attention.
The right area is the one that works on a normal Tuesday. Málaga city and Alhaurín de la Torre offer different settings, but the exact street and property matter more than a broad label. Use the same questions for both before deciding where to focus your search.
Map your everyday journeys
Write down the places you expect to visit regularly: work, school, shops, healthcare, exercise and friends. For each property, check the actual route, parking and transport options. Test important journeys at the times you would normally make them.
If walking to daily errands matters to you, compare the route from the front door. If you expect to drive, check access, parking and the journeys you will make most. Avoid choosing on a single travel-time estimate from an advertisement.
Compare the address, not just the area
Málaga is a coastal city; Alhaurín de la Torre is inland. Each search area includes different neighbourhoods and types of home. A city address does not tell you how quiet a street will be, and an inland address does not automatically mean a large plot or complete privacy.
Visit at different times. Listen for road and street noise, look at the surroundings, and check how the property feels with doors and windows open. Confirm the exact location of any listing before planning a viewing.
Decide what outdoor space means to you
Would you use a balcony every day, host meals on a terrace, maintain a garden or look after a pool? Consider shade, orientation, privacy and the work involved, as well as the size of the space.
Ask what is private and what is shared. If you are considering changes, discuss the specific property and your plans with the appropriate independent professional before treating those changes as part of the purchase.
Look beyond the rooms
For an apartment, check stairs, lifts, parking, communal areas and planned building work. For a house, include access, exterior maintenance, boundaries and any outbuildings in your questions. The photographs rarely explain the whole ownership picture.
ROWA helps collect questions and available information. Independent lawyers and technical professionals assess the documents and matters within their remit.
Use one budget for both searches
Compare the purchase price alongside identified transaction costs, finance, utilities, insurance, community charges where applicable and maintenance. A home with more space can also bring more responsibility; a smaller property can still have significant shared costs.
Keep estimates, confirmed amounts and unanswered questions separate. We help organise that comparison so a change in the budget remains visible.
Bring us your priorities before viewings
Send us the things that matter most, the compromises you would consider and the areas you are exploring. We can build a focused shortlist and coordinate introductions and buyer registration with selling agents.
If you have already contacted an agent or visited a property, let us know. We can then agree a clear role and work constructively with the people already involved.
